We've also arranged the schedule to try to help out parents with siblings in different age groups. No matter their age, there will be at least one night a week where the different age groups are on at the same time and you can bring them both at the same time to the same place

Tuesday, April 25th **Location Update** Tomorrow's Session Moving Outside
25 April 2023 @ 11:06 AM by Ryan McCann

Hello Footy For All Family,

We hope you have all had a great weekend.

The church is having to undergo some maintenance in the gym that is going to take place through Tuesday evening so our kids will be getting an early taste of outdoor footy as we are moving the session outside to our lovely home field at Heart Lake Secondary School located at 296 Conestoga Dr. Brampton. We usually have a parents vs kids game at the end of our sessions but as we are in a gym that is simply not possible. However, we would like to take that opportunity tomorrow to do this as we are outside so parents - bring your best game for the kids! Make sure your children are dressed for the weather and we look forward to seeing you all there tomorrow.

Kindest regards,

 - The Footy For All Team

Footy For All Tuesdays
22 November 2022 @ 11:14 AM by Ryan McCann

Hello Footy For All familes,

we are excited for us to start in our newest location at The Church of Archangel Michael and St. Tekla gym.

Just a couple housekeeping items for arrival this evening, firstly when you arrive at the church if you could please park in the area of the parking lot that is on the south side between the church and the seniors home. This is per the request of the church as the parking lot that is in front of the church between the elementary school is for the service on Tuesday evenings. Where we will be parking is right in front of the door that leads to the gym which will be open for you to enter on arrival. With the program being in a gym it is imperative that we keep the gym surface dry so please have the children change into their soccer shoes in the foyer just outside the gym area and this will also apply to any parents entering the gym area. Dry shoes inside the gym area only, please.

We look forward to seeing you all this evening!

New - Single Drop In Session!
12 July 2022 @ 9:45 AM by Joel Convery

Hello Footy For All Parents,

We just wanted to let you know that we have added a brand new pickup / drop in session!

This is great opportunity to give the program a try before committing to a full season, or to give your child an additional night of footy if they are already registered for a program. We'll be looking to add these weekly on rotating nights where we have fields available. We understand many of you may not be able to commit to a full 8 week season with busy summer schedules, but still want your child to be able to get out and enjoy some summer footy.

The drop in sessions will consist of skills / drills and small sided scrimmage games. We are offering the first session at a discounted price of only $10 plus hst! We have limited availability in these programs, so we'd encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.

You can view all of the information and register your child online here!

Thank you,

- Michael, Ryan and your Footy for All Team

Welcome to the Spring Footy For All Program!
12 May 2022 @ 8:48 PM by Ryan McCann

Dear parent,

Thank you for registering for the Spring Footy For All Soccer programs.

To view your program schedule, please log onto your Footy For All account and select 'My Programs'

Your program dates and times will be displayed on that page.

The programs takes place at the same time in the same place every week. If you registered for the 6pm program, you will play at 6pm each week. If you registered for the 7pm program, you will play at 7pm each week.

Location:

All sessions will take place at the turf field at Heart Lake Secondary School in Brampton. The address is:

Heart Lake Secondary School, 296 Conestoga Drive, Brampton, L6Z 3M1.

Click on the link above to show the location in google maps.

The field is located directly behind the school and can be seen from the car park.

What to Bring:

  • Shorts/track pants
  • Jacket/sweatshirt for cooler days
  • Socks
  • Athletics Shoes
  • Shin guards (recommended)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen

The program shirt will be handed out at the SECOND session. Please ensure to arrive at least to 15 - 30 mins early on week 2 so we can get everyone their jersey prior to the start of the session.

Unfortunately we have been informed of a shipping delay, so the jerseys may not be ready in time for the first session.

Specific turf soccer shoes, indoor or cleats are great but are not necessary if they do not already have them. Any form of running, tennis or athletic shoes will be absolutely fine.

What will they do at each session?

Our coaches will be working on skill development and developing technique for part of the session followed by mini-games to practice their new skills. However, our main focus is that the boys and girls in the program have fun and enjoy their soccer, not to provide a competitive team environment.

Frequently Asked Questions for parents

We have designed the programs to be fun and fulfilling for the kids, but also to be as parent-friendly as possible with a simple sign-up process, same time and location every week and not too big a time or financial commitment for parents. You can find the answers to some of the more common questions below, but please contact us at admin@footyforall.ca if there is anything else we can help you with.

Is it indoors or outdoor? All sessions are outdoors.

Is there parking? Yes, there is plenty of free parking at the school.

Can I get there by public transport? The number 21 bus stops directly outside the school, but does not run at the weekend. The number 5 or 7 buses are much more regular and stop about 10 minutes walk from the school.

Do I have to stay with the kids? It's entirely up to you. You can drop them off and come back to pick them up at the end of the session, stay and watch (there is seating to watch from) or even volunteer to get involved with coaching and make it an even better experience. It's up to you. For the younger kids, we would recommend that parents stay if possible, as the comfort of knowing that mum or dad is nearby can help newer players relax and concentrate on playing.

Are there tryouts? No everyone can join and all kids are welcome. We want them to enjoy the experience and get the chance to participate throughout, whether they are experienced players or not.

Will we have to travel to other locations? No, it will always be at the same place.

Are there washroom facilities on site? There are portable toilets on site

We hope we have answered most of the questions that you may have, if you have any other questions please e-mail us at admin@footyforall.ca

Yours,

Michael, Ryan, Chris and the FootyForAll team.

Footy For All Soccer Programs - Latest Update July 3rd
3 July 2020 @ 3:13 PM by Ryan McCann

Hi everyone,

We are now into the fourth month of the social distancing measures and we hope you and your families are managing to stay safe, well and positive!

Spring Seasons

For now, we are going to push back the start of the programs another few weeks into July.

We are close to the point where we can resume our programs, but not quite there yet due to the delay in Peel region entering stage 2 of the Provinces reopening plan. We have a few things to clarify regarding procedures and protocols for ensuring social distancing among younger kids before we feel we will be able to launch this year's program.

Beyond that, the messaging is much the same as our last update:

If it does reach a point where we have to shorten or cancel the season, we will either issue a credit to the next season or a refund for the portion of the season that we cannot fulfill. If the season is cancelled it will obviously be a full refund. If it is shortened, it will be a prorated.

Registrations for Spring Programs

Whatever happens, you can go ahead and reserve your space with confidence. If we do have to make changes to what we are currently advertising for our spring programs and the changes aren't suitable for your family we will issue a full refund of your payment before the season starts.

Our EARLY BIRD PRICING is also still in effect until we are able to confirm when the programs will start. We remain hopeful that we can resume programing on the advertised start dates listed on the website.

Take care everyone,

Ryan, Chris and the Footy Sevens Team

Footy For All Soccer Programs - Latest Update May 19th
19 May 2020 @ 10:26 PM by Chris Surgeoner

Hi everyone,

We are now into the third month of the social distancing measures and we hope you and your families are managing to stay safe, well and positive!

We had been waiting for another update around schools or potentially social and sports leagues for kids, and the province confirmed today that the schools will not complete the current school year.

Spring Seasons

We are still assuming we can complete the spring seasons as planned. We still don't know exactly when that will be though. And it is more of a summer season now!

For now, we are going to push back the start of the programs to the first week of July. This is a very tentative date, it could be later (we can even dream that it could be earlier), depending on when Ottawa Public Health advises that it is safe to resume social or sporting activities.

Beyond that, the messaging is much the same as our last update:

If it does reach a point where we have to shorten or cancel the season, we will either issue a credit to the next season or a refund for the portion of the season that we cannot fulfil. If the season is cancelled it will obviously be a full refund. If it is shortened, it will be a prorated.

We are not processing refunds right now because we just don't know what will be happening with the season. Everything hinges upon when we are all allowed to resume sporting and social activities. Once we have dates where we know that play can resume, we will be able to make a decision on the format and length and process all of the credits or refunds if required. This will be a manual process and we will have to process each one individually, so we would like to be able to work through them methodically when the time comes. For that reason, we really appreciate you bearing with us until we know what the final set-up of the programs will be.

Footy For All Soccer Programs - Latest Update Spring 2020
9 May 2020 @ 2:20 AM by Chris Surgeoner

Hi everyone,

We hope everyone continues to be safe and well and you and your families are still doing okay as the social distancing measures stretch into May.

This is our update on the kids' soccer programs in relation to the COVID-19 preventative measures.

Spring Seasons

We are still assuming we can complete the spring seasons as planned but we have pushed back the start dates to JUNE 9th/10th/11th. The programs will still run for the planned period of time, they will just start later and finish later.

Obviously this is still just a guess. Ontario schools are currently closed until May 31st. The start date could easily be later than this.

If it does reach a point where we have to shorten or cancel the season, we will either issue a credit to the next season or a refund for the portion of the season that we cannot fulfil. If the season is cancelled it will obviously be a full refund. If it is shortened, it will be a prorated.

Take care everyone, please, please, please take social distancing seriously and support our local small businesses in whatever way you can,
